Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Prabha Devi Law College

Prabha Devi Law College has established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to ensure quality in education and to maintain a continuous improvement process in all academic and administrative activities. The IQAC functions as a guiding and monitoring body to enhance institutional performance and to implement quality measures effectively.

Objectives

  • To promote student-centered teaching-learning processes and enhance academic excellence.

  • To monitor and evaluate academic and administrative performance continuously.

  • To ensure transparency and accountability in documentation, audits, and reporting.

  • To formulate action plans for continuous improvement and institutional excellence.

  • To coordinate internal and external evaluation processes, including preparation for NAAC, peer team visits, and self-study reports.

Key Activities

  • Preparing an annual Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) and reviewing its implementation.

  • Conducting orientation sessions for students and faculty at the start of each academic year.

  • Conducting internal audits and evaluations and recommending corrective actions.

  • Collecting feedback from students and faculty and formulating policies based on the results.

  • Organizing workshops and seminars for faculty and students to enhance quality awareness.

  • Coordinating preparation for external peer team inspections and NAAC/NBA evaluations.

Periodic Reporting

IQAC prepares an annual report summarizing institutional quality initiatives, including:

  • Teaching-learning indicators for each course/program.

  • Details of resources acquired and improvements made.

  • Record of workshops and training programs conducted.

  • Analysis of student and faculty feedback and actions taken.

  • Proposed improvement plans for the upcoming academic year.
